The Village Academy is a DIR Floortime School. We are a therapeutic school committed to meeting the needs of children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Syndromes, Sensory Processing Disorders and Language Disorders through education, therapy and advocacy.
What We Do
The Village Academy is a DIR Floortime School,bilingual, therapeutic education program in Oviedo, Florida, near the University of Central Florida in Orlando. We use the DIR Floortime Approach and Sensory Integrative Approaches to educate our students both academically and theraputically.
We accept new students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. We are able to retain established students through the 8th grade.
The Village Academy provides each student the opportunity to achieve full potential through a balanced approach to physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development. Each child is accepted and supported through a constancy of love and understanding.

The Village Academy is a participating McKay Scholarship School. Families that qualify can have the scholarship processed through the school. For more information on qualifying for this scholarship please refer to www.floridaschoolchoice.org
Although The Village Academy does not provide Behavioral Therapy Services, we do welcome Behavioralist working with our students into our school if it is beneficial to our student.
